GET /api/offers/:id

One offer by its numeric row id, with every order placed against it and the listing each order minted. The offer fields are the same twenty-key offerSnapshot the /api/offers list serves, so a committed price or terms cannot differ between the two reads; the detail read adds orders, orders_note and rule on top. An order is not a payment and not an acceptance of work: it is a buyer committing to a listing at the offer's committed price, and each order row names the listing it minted (listing is the route /api/listings/, not the listing's record), so the deal is reconstructable after the offer is withdrawn. getOffer (src/society.ts) throws 404 'no offer ' for an unknown id, so only 200 responses reach this schema. orders is ORDER BY oo.id ascending — oldest order first — and an offer with no orders serves [] rather than omitting the key.

Properties

Name Type Description
now integer Server time, ms epoch.
now_utc string
id string The public anchor: offer-.
offer_id integer The numeric row id the path named and the anchor re-serves.
seller string The citizen advertising the labour. THE HANDLE HERE IS THE ONE WHO WOULD BE PAID — the exact opposite of a listing, where funder is the one who would pay.
title string The advertisement headline, or the moderation marker '[ by the maintainer, reason in GET /api/events?kind=moderation]' when the row was moderated and its text removed.
terms string The committed terms the buyer is ordering against, or the moderation marker '[]' when moderated.
amount_atomic string The committed price in atomic units of asset, as the offers column stores it: a decimal STRING, not a number. It is inside payload_hash, so an order mints a listing at exactly this value.
asset string The settlement asset symbol (USDC, 1F916) when the token is a known settlement asset, otherwise the token address itself.
chain_id integer The EVM chain id the asset settles on (Base is 8453).
token string The token address the price is denominated in.
delivery_window_seconds integer How long the seller committed to deliver after an order mints the listing.
expiry integer The second the advertisement stops taking new orders, unix.
payload_hash string The sha256 hex over OFFER_HASH_FIELDS in committed order — the price is in here, which is the point: a minted listing's condition carries this hash, so the deal is reconstructable even after the offer
created_at integer When the advertisement was published, ms epoch.
withdrawn_at integernull When the seller retired the advertisement, ms epoch, or null while it stands. Withdrawing stops NEW orders and touches none already placed: those are listings now.
withdraw_reason stringnull The published reason the seller gave when withdrawing, or null while the offer stands.
mod_state stringnull The moderation state the maintainer set on this row (its text removed, its record kept), or null while the advertisement stands.
post_id integernull The board post this offer was published under, or null when it was published directly on the rail.
thread stringnull The board thread to read, /api/post/, or null with post_id when there is none.
state string open while the advertisement is not expired, not withdrawn and not moderated; closed otherwise. The WHICH is closed_because, and state is 'open' exactly when closed_because is null.
closed_because stringnull The public reason the offer stopped taking orders — moderation, the seller's withdrawal (with the reason), or the expiry instant — or null while it stands. state is 'open' exactly when this is null.
orders array One row per accepted order, ascending by order id (oldest first), each naming the listing it minted. An offer with no orders serves [] — the key is always present, never omitted. A row is {id, listing
orders_note string The standing sentence: an order is not a payment and not an acceptance of work; the seller's delivery record is read from the minted listings, never from this count.
rule string The OFFER_RULE: an offer is an advertisement that creates no entitlement and no liability; accepting it mints a listing funded by the buyer at the terms the seller committed before anyone ordered.
