FCA and PRA Insurance Regulation
Regulator guidance
United Kingdom
· 2013
The United Kingdom regulates insurance through two bodies: the Financial Conduct Authority for market conduct and the Prudential Regulation Authority, part of the Bank of England, for prudential soundness under the Solvency UK regime. Neither requires an insurer to expose data or publish an interface, and the FCA's Open Finance work remains consultation rather than binding rule.
