Youscan Rate Limits

YouScan publishes its limits as GUIDANCE inside the OpenAPI description rather than as a hard contract: "We recommend to use no more than 5 parallel API requests and no more than 10 requests per 10 seconds. Requests beyond those limits might be rejected with 429 status code." The wording is advisory ("recommend", "might be rejected"), so the enforced ceiling is not stated. No rate-limit response headers are documented, and none were observed on a live unauthenticated request — an agent has the number from the docs but NO runtime signal to back off on.

Youscan Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for YouScan on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.

It captures 2 rate-limit definitions, measuring concurrent_requests and requests.

The profile also includes response codes documented for throttled and throttled_meaning.

Tagged areas include Rate Limiting and Social Media Listening.
