Policies

Backoff Strategy
Clients should implement exponential backoff with jitter, honoring the Retry-After header when present on 429 responses.
Quota Types
Quotas are soft limits adjustable via Yandex Cloud technical support request. Hard limits are technical restrictions of the architecture and cannot be changed.
Quota Reset
Monthly character quotas reset at the start of each calendar month. Per-second rate limits operate on a sliding window basis.
Fair Use
Sustained usage that materially impacts shared infrastructure may be subject to additional fair-use throttling even within quota.
