Wikivoyage Rate Limits
Wikivoyage uses the standard Wikimedia Foundation rate-limiting framework applied to all MediaWiki-based projects. There is no hard per-second rate limit for read requests, but serial (non-parallel) requests are required for batch workloads. Write operations are subject to per-account throttling enforced by MediaWiki. Clients that violate the API etiquette guidelines may be blocked by IP without notice.
