Wellsaid Rate Limits

The WellSaid Labs API enforces per-account rate limiting on text-to-speech render endpoints, returning HTTP 429 when limits are exceeded. Each render request is bounded to 1,000 characters of input text. Specific per-account requests-per-minute / concurrency limits and any per-tier render quotas are not publicly documented and vary by plan and Enterprise agreement; they are not reconciled in this artifact.

Wellsaid Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for WellSaid Labs on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.

It captures 3 rate-limit definitions, measuring requests, concurrent_requests, and characters.

The profile also includes 2 backoff/retry policies defined and response codes documented for throttled.

Tagged areas include AI, Text to Speech, Voice, Audio, and TTS.
