The one API path the company's own robots.txt allows a crawler to touch — /vtwa/v1/link_blocks_directory/lookup on the first-party gateway api.varsitytutors.com — was fetched unauthenticated and returned HTTP 422 with the plain-text body "Invalid parameters: id, subject, or full_path must be present". Its response carried NO rate-limit headers: no X-RateLimit-*, no RateLimit-*, no Retry-After.
