Subaru Of America Rate Limits

Scaffold rate-limit definitions for the Subaru of America connected-vehicle backend. Subaru does not publish official limits; the figures below are conservative reverse-engineered observations from open-source clients (e.g., G-two/subarulink) and reflect remote-command pacing rather than developer-API quotas. Replace with authoritative values when Subaru exposes a documented developer surface.

Subaru Of America Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for Subaru of America on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.

It captures 5 rate-limit definitions, across the owner and partner tiers, measuring commands_per_minute, requests_per_minute, and logins_per_hour.

The profile also includes 4 backoff/retry policies defined and response codes documented for throttled, quotaExceeded, and serviceUnavailable.

Tagged areas include Automobiles, Automotive, Connected Vehicle, Telematics, and Rate Limiting.

Backoff Strategy
Clients should implement exponential backoff with jitter. The MySubaru backend has been observed returning generic 5xx responses under load; honor Retry-After when present and otherwise back off aggressively.
Remote Command Serialization
Remote vehicle commands (lock, unlock, start, horn, lights) are typically serialized per-vehicle. Issuing a new command before the previous one reports terminal status will either fail or be queued.
Reverse-Engineered Surface Warning
There is no official public API. All limits documented here are derived from community projects and the MySubaru mobile app's observed behavior, and may change without notice.
Partner Backend Limits Apply
AT&T Wi-Fi and SiriusXM are governed by their respective partner backends. Their rate limits are not enumerated here.
