Ror Rate Limits
The ROR REST API enforces rate limits per IP address. Currently, the limit is 2,000 requests per 5-minute period with no client ID required. Beginning Q3 2026, clients without a registered client ID will be reduced to 50 requests per 5-minute period. Clients that register a free client ID at https://ror.org/api-client-id will retain the 2,000 requests per 5-minute limit. Rate limit headers are returned with API responses.
Ror Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for ROR on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.
It captures 4 rate-limit definitions, measuring requests and results.
