Paperspace Rate Limits

Paperspace does not publish numeric per-key rate limits in the public API reference; the documented limits are operational (concurrency and quota rather than request-per-second). This file captures the observable enforcement surfaces so downstream tooling can model them.

Paperspace Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for Paperspace on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.

The profile also includes 4 backoff/retry policies defined.

Tagged areas include GPU, Cloud, AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.

Policies

Default REST API request rate
api.paperspace.com/v1 enforces unspecified per-key request limits. Excessive request rates are throttled with HTTP 429 responses. Treat as a soft-limit; back off using `Retry-After` if present.
Concurrent machine count per team
Maximum simultaneous active machines is enforced per team and SKU. Per-SKU quotas can be raised by contacting support.
Public IPs per team
Claimed public IPs are limited per team. Excess claim attempts return a quota error.
Storage quota per plan
Persistent storage is capped by Gradient plan (Free 5 GB, Pro 15 GB, Growth 50 GB). Additional storage incurs metered billing.
