Optum Rate Limits
Optum Rate Limits is the rate-limit profile for Optum on the APIs.io network.
The provider publishes no rate limits that could be read; the profile records that absence rather than inventing a ceiling.

Optum publishes no rate limits that could be read; the profile records that absence rather than inventing a ceiling.
Optum publishes NO numeric rate limit anywhere on developer.optum.com — no requests-per-second, no per-key quota, no burst allowance, and no throttling policy page. The only rate-limit signal in the entire public surface is a documented 429 response on the Dental Attachment API (10 of its 11 operations, including the token endpoint), described verbatim as "The requestor has sent more requests within a given timeframe than allowed." None of the other 37 harvested specs declare a 429 at all, and no spec declares a rate-limit response header. An agent therefore cannot budget against this API: it can only discover the ceiling by hitting it, and on most endpoints it will not even get a 429 it was told to expect.

Every rate limit here is available over the APIs.io API and to AI agents over MCP.
