Optic Rate Limits
Optic publishes no rate limits, because Optic exposes no callable API. The product is a local CLI that reads OpenAPI files from a git working tree; the only remote calls it ever made went to Optic Cloud, which was disconnected at v1.0.0 and whose hosts no longer resolve.
Optic Rate Limits is the rate-limit profile for Optic on the APIs.io network.
The provider publishes no rate limits that could be read; the profile records that absence rather than inventing a ceiling.
Tagged areas include API Governance, Breaking Changes, Contract Testing, Diff, and Linting.

SUPERSEDES A SCAFFOLD. Until 2026-08-29 this file carried five invented per-tier limits (10/100/1000 requests per minute, 1k/100k monthly quotas) and a full X-RateLimit-* header set, written by the 2026-05-04 bulk sweep and never observed on any Optic response. None of it was ever published by the provider. It has been replaced with the honest zero.
