Openmetadata Rate Limits

OpenMetadata is an open-source platform where rate limits are not enforced by the software itself for self-hosted deployments. For Collate managed SaaS plans, rate limits are implicitly tied to plan tiers through data refresh cadence and asset limits. No explicit per-request rate limit values are publicly documented. The API returns HTTP 429 status codes when limits are exceeded. Self-hosted operators should implement their own rate limiting at the infrastructure layer (e.g., reverse proxy, API gateway).

Openmetadata Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for OpenMetadata on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.

Tagged areas include Data Catalog, Metadata, Data Governance, Data Lineage, and Data Quality.
