Novo Bank Rate Limits

Novo does not publish a public developer API, so there is no first-party API rate-limit policy to document. Any rate limiting that applies to programmatic access to Novo account or transaction data is enforced by the third-party aggregator used to reach Novo (e.g. Plaid), under that aggregator's own limits and quotas, not by Novo. Banking product limits (e.g. ACH transfer caps, daily card limits) are operational account controls rather than API throttling and are set per account by Novo. No reconciled values are available.

Novo Bank Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for Novo on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.

It captures 2 rate-limit definitions, measuring requests.

The profile also includes 2 backoff/retry policies defined and response codes documented for throttled.

Tagged areas include Banking, Business Banking, Fintech, Small Business, and Freelancers.

Limits

First-Party API Rate Limit account
requests
not applicable
Novo publishes no public API and therefore no first-party rate limit.
Aggregator Rate Limit (Plaid) account
requests
see aggregator documentation
Programmatic access to Novo data goes through aggregators such as Plaid; request limits are governed by that aggregator, not Novo.

Policies

Aggregator-Governed Access
Because there is no Novo developer API, throttling and quota behavior are determined by the data aggregator integration in use.
Backoff Strategy
When integrating via an aggregator, implement exponential backoff with jitter and honor Retry-After per the aggregator's guidance.
