per auth endpoint (sign-in), instance-wide configuration
· per 60 seconds (AUTH_RATE_LIMIT_WINDOW, default 60)
20 requests per window (AUTH_RATE_LIMIT_MAX, default 20)/60 seconds (AUTH_RATE_LIMIT_WINDOW, default 60)
Documented as brute-force protection, not as an API quota. The docs warn that disabling it removes brute-force protection from sign-in.
