Meddra Rate Limits
Meddra Rate Limits is the rate-limit profile for Meddra on the APIs.io network.
The provider publishes no rate limits that could be read; the profile records that absence rather than inventing a ceiling.
Limit state is signalled in the limit, remaining, reset, and retryAfter response headers, and an exhausted limit returns HTTP 429.
The profile also includes response codes documented for throttled.
Tagged areas include Medical Terminology, Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety, Adverse Events, and Regulatory.

The MedDRA API DOES throttle and says so in its own contract: 16 of the 16 operations declare a 429 response whose description reads "The throttling limit on this API has been exceeded. Please review the MedDRA API documentation on throttling limits." The numbers, windows and scope of those limits are in the programmer guides behind the subscriber login at https://www.meddra.org/private/api-info and are not published, so no limit is recorded here. No RateLimit-* / X-RateLimit-* / Retry-After header is declared in the contract or returned on the anonymous probes we could make. This is an honest zero: the mechanism is documented, the values are gated.
