Lunar Rate Limits

Lunar.dev enforces rate limits at multiple levels: platform-tier Flow run quotas govern how many policy executions each gateway may perform per month, while gateway-level flow configurations enforce per-API-endpoint request limits using fixed-window, sliding-window, or custom strategies. The platform proactively prevents HTTP 429 errors from upstream providers and can apply priority queuing to distribute capacity across consumers. Rate limit configuration is expressed in YAML flow and quota files deployed to the gateway.

Lunar Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for Lunar on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.
