Kareo (Tebra) does not publish explicit numeric rate limits in public documentation. The API Terms of Use prohibit excessive or abusive usage and state that developers cannot exceed or circumvent limitations on access, calls, and use of the Tebra API. No Webhook Push Support
The Kareo SOAP API does not support HL7 or webhook push functionality. All data retrieval must be initiated by polling from the integration client.
Customer Key Required
All API requests require a Customer Key in addition to standard login credentials. The key is issued per integration by a System Administrator and restricts the scope of accessible data.
HIPAA Compliance
All API integrations must comply with HIPAA regulations and implement reasonable security measures to protect patient data.
