Jitterbit Rate Limits

Published rate limits for the Jitterbit Harmony API gateway and the Message Queue service. Jitterbit enforces limits at the organization, environment and security-profile levels, plus one hard platform ceiling on the Jitterbit-hosted cloud API gateway. It does NOT enforce rate limiting at the individual API level.

Jitterbit Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for Jitterbit on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.

It captures 4 rate-limit definitions, measuring requests_per_minute and requests_per_month.

The profile also includes 3 backoff/retry policies defined and response codes documented for throttled, quotaExceeded, forbidden, uriTooLong, and gatewayTimeout.

Policies

Monthly quota reset
The monthly hits allowance resets to its maximum on the first day of the following month.
Escalation path
Raising the monthly allowance is a commercial action — contact the organization's Customer Success Manager. There is no self-service overage.
Trusted IP enforcement
A security profile with trusted IP groups configured rejects requests from addresses outside the allowed ranges with 429, not 403.
