Interswitch Rate Limits
Interswitch does not publish per-key request-per-second limits on its public developer documentation. Limits are applied per merchant, per API, and per environment by the Interswitch API Gateway. Production limits are negotiated during onboarding; sandbox limits are intentionally low. The headers below are observed on responses from the Quickteller and Payment Gateway APIs.
Interswitch Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for Interswitch on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.
It captures 5 rate-limit definitions, across the Sandbox and Production tiers.
The profile also includes response codes documented for throttled and quotaExceeded.
Tagged areas include Payments, Rate Limiting, and Quotas.
