Iex Cloud Rate Limits
IEX Cloud sunset on 2024-08-31. Historically the platform did not enforce per-second request caps; instead each endpoint cost a number of "messages" against the monthly message allowance. Documented hard limits included a connection cap of 50 concurrent requests and 100 messages per second per token on the free tier. Information preserved for migration reference.
Iex Cloud Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for IEX Cloud on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.
It captures 3 rate-limit definitions, measuring concurrent_connections, requests_per_second, and messages_per_month.
The profile also includes 1 backoff/retry policy defined and response codes documented for throttled.
Tagged areas include Fintech, Market Data, Sunset, and Rate Limiting.
