THERE IS NOTHING TO METER. Gloo Mesh is self-hosted software: the API surface is Kubernetes CustomResourceDefinitions running in the customer's own clusters, so requests are served by the customer's own Kubernetes API server and Solo.io neither counts nor throttles them. Any limit that applies is the customer's own Kubernetes API Priority and Fairness configuration, which belongs to the customer, not to this provider. The one Solo.io-operated endpoint in this record — the Docs MCP server at https://search.solo.io/mcp — publishes no limits, and the live responses observed on 2026-09-12 carried no RateLimit-*, X-RateLimit-* or Retry-After header. limit_count 0 is a measured zero, not an unchecked one. Do not confuse this with the product's rate-limiting FEATURE, below: those CRDs are throttling controls Gloo gives the operator for THEIR traffic.

Every rate limit here is available over the APIs.io API and to AI agents over MCP.
