Gate Io Rate Limits

Gate API v4 applies separate rate limits to public (unauthenticated) and private (authenticated) endpoints. Public endpoints are scoped by IP address; private endpoints are scoped by UID (API key). Additional per-market limits apply to order-management endpoints for spot and perpetual futures to guard against low-fill-ratio order flooding. Rate limits are periodically reviewed and adjusted with advance notice published in Gate.com announcements.
