G2 Rate Limits

G2 publishes exactly one rate limit and it is enforced at the Cloudflare edge, not per API key. This file replaces a 2026-05-04 scaffold that invented free/professional/enterprise tiers G2 does not publish.

G2 Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for G2 on the APIs.io network, in the API Commons Rate Limits shape.

It captures 2 rate-limit definitions, measuring requests_per_second and block_duration_seconds.

Limit state is signalled in the note, limit, remaining, and reset response headers.

The profile also includes 2 backoff/retry policies defined and response codes documented for note and throttled.

Policies

Shared budget across surfaces
The MCP server calls the underlying G2 API and is subject to the same limit, so an agent session and a batch job on the same egress IP share one 100 rps budget.
Per-IP, not per-key
Because the limit is keyed on source IP rather than API key, tenants behind a shared NAT or a single cloud egress address contend with each other.
