FuelEconomy.gov does not publish explicit rate limit policies. As a U.S. federal government public data service administered by Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the API is freely accessible without authentication. No documented throttling or quota restrictions exist. Consumers are encouraged to cache responses locally and use bulk data downloads for large-scale data needs.
