Ferc Rate Limits
FERC publishes one rate limit, on the Open Data API: 1,000 requests per hour per API key, reset on a rolling basis, enforced by the api.data.gov API Umbrella gateway. Exceeding it temporarily blocks the key. Higher limits are granted by contacting support — no published tier ladder. The eForms XBRL API publishes no rate limit.
Ferc Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for FERC on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.
It captures 1 rate-limit definition, measuring requests_per_hour.
The profile also includes response codes documented for throttled.
Tagged areas include Rate Limiting, Open Data, and Government.
