Fdc3 Rate Limits

FDC3 is a specification standard, not a hosted API service. FINOS does not operate a centralized FDC3 API endpoint, so FINOS imposes no rate limits on the standard itself. Rate limits applicable to FDC3 usage depend entirely on the Desktop Agent implementation (e.g., OpenFin, Finsemble, Interop.io/Glue42) and any App Directory implementations deployed by organizations. The FDC3 App Directory REST API rate limits are governed by whoever hosts that implementation. The npm packages (@finos/fdc3) are distributed via the standard npm registry, subject to npm's own rate limits.

Fdc3 Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for FDC3 on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.

It captures 4 rate-limit definitions, measuring varies, requests/minute, and requests/hour.

Tagged areas include Financial Services, Fintech, Desktop Interoperability, Open Standard, and FINOS.
