Limits
per-caller (free trial)
3 free scores on POST /api/score / MCP score_text/lifetime
Never resets; the 429 body carries the x402 upgrade recipe. Caller key is derived from the proxy chain (operator diagnostic /api/operator/free-trial/whoami). Rejected requests (400 data_consent_required / wishlist_required / invalid source) do not consume a round.
platform (paid capacity)
paid work is capacity-limited before settlement or credit use/transient
Retry the same payment proof or Idempotency-Key with identical inputs after Retry-After; never send another transfer.
embedded component (client-side pacing)
≈800 ms debounce, 2 s minimum start interval, bounded transient 429/503/network retries with the same Idempotency-Key/per edit
Behaviour of the provider's browser component, documented in ai-plugin.json and llms.txt; host caps and pause controls are host-owned.
per-wallet (duels)
wallet suspended after too many consecutive failures (429 declared on POST /api/duel); /api/simulate wallets are explicitly never suspended/consecutive failures
Reset via POST /api/bots/{bot_id}/reset (operator authorization).

Every rate limit here is available over the APIs.io API and to AI agents over MCP.
