The Dentrix Ascend API Exchange meters usage by a monthly allowance per Dentrix Ascend location - a documented 30,000 API calls and 3 GB of data per location per month, with metered overages beyond that ($0.0018 per additional call, $1.00 per additional GB). On the on-premise Dentrix Developer Program, throughput is bound to the local Dentrix database/ODBC layer and each office's hardware rather than a cloud quota.
