Published Cvent Platform REST API rate limits. The three usage tiers, their daily quota, per-second rate and burst are stated verbatim in the "Rate Limits" section of the official OpenAPI's info.description; the response headers, the 429 semantics and the quota-inspection endpoints come from the Handling Rate Limits guide on the developer portal. Replaces the 2026-05-04 scaffold, whose numbers were placeholders.

Policies

Failed requests still count
Every request counts against the quota, including requests that themselves return 429. Stated explicitly in the Handling Rate Limits guide.
Backoff strategy
Cvent's published SDK retry policy: exponential backoff, initial interval 2s, max interval 16s, exponent 2.0, max elapsed 40s (~5 attempts), then log and stop. Connection errors are retried; 429 is not retried automatically.
Quota reset
Daily quota resets at 12 midnight GMT (+0). Rate is a 1-second window.
