Rate limiting details for the Cognito Forms REST API. Limits are enforced on a monthly basis tied to the subscription plan. There are no documented per-minute or per-hour throttle limits; the primary constraint is monthly request quotas. Large requests (over 100 KB) count as multiple requests against the monthly quota.

Policies
Large Request Counting
Requests exceeding 100 KB in size are counted as multiple requests. A 150 KB request counts as 2 requests; a 400 KB request counts as 4 requests.
API Key Limits
Up to five API keys per integration can be generated. Keys can be configured with specific expiration dates or set to never expire.
Shared Request Pool
Monthly request limits are shared across all integration types including Make, Power Automate, Zapier, JSON Webhooks, and the Cognito Forms REST API.
No Per-Minute Throttling Documented
Cognito Forms does not publish per-minute or per-hour rate limit thresholds. Throttling is enforced at the monthly quota level.
