Buttondown Rate Limits
Buttondown's published API rate limits, read from its rate-limits documentation. This replaces the 2026-05-04 scaffold, whose values were placeholders. Buttondown enforces one global per-minute limit plus one endpoint-specific daily cap on subscriber creation, and returns rate-limit state on every response.
Buttondown Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for Buttondown on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.
It captures 3 rate-limit definitions, measuring requests_per_minute, requests_per_day, and requests_per_hour.
The profile also includes response codes documented for throttled and quotaExceeded.
Tagged areas include Email, Newsletters, Rate Limiting, and Throttling.
