Bloomberg Data Rate Limits
Bloomberg publishes no rate limits, quotas or throttling headers for the Data License / Hypermedia REST API on any page reachable without a credential. Data License volume is a contractual term (daily security counts, dataset entitlements, delivery windows), and B-PIPE capacity is provisioned as concurrent subscription limits on the customer's own appliance — neither is expressed as a public per-minute API limit. This file replaces a 2026-05-04 bulk-sweep scaffold that invented free / professional / enterprise request-per-minute tiers and X-RateLimit-* headers that Bloomberg has never documented and that no live response was observed to return.
Bloomberg Data Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for Bloomberg Data on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.
The profile also includes response codes documented for observed and throttled.
Tagged areas include Analytics, Financial Services, Market Data, News, and Real-Time Data.
Work with this as data
Every rate limit here is available over the APIs.io API and to AI agents over MCP.
