Bloomberg Aim Rate Limits

Bloomberg AIM does not publish public API rate limits. Throughput, concurrency, and message-rate ceilings are governed by the customer's AIM contract, the upstream BLPAPI / B-PIPE agreements, and the FIX broker network.

Bloomberg Aim Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for Bloomberg AIM on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.

It captures 2 rate-limit definitions, measuring varies.

The profile also includes 2 backoff/retry policies defined and response codes documented for throttled and quotaExceeded.

Tagged areas include Order Management, Portfolio Management, Trading, and Rate Limiting.

Backoff
Clients should respect AIM SDK / FIX session events and apply exponential backoff with jitter on throttled responses.
