Bizapi Rate Limits

Published rate limiting for the BizAPI Business Intelligence API. BizAPI enforces one flat throughput ceiling that is not tier-differentiated, and separately meters a prepaid balance of successful matches ("credits"). Exhausting throughput returns 429; exhausting credits returns 403.

Bizapi Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for BizAPI on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.

It captures 2 rate-limit definitions, across the all tier, measuring requests_per_second and successful_matches.

The profile also includes 4 backoff/retry policies defined and response codes documented for throttled and quotaExceeded.

Policies

Throughput boost
A temporary increase above 3 requests per rolling second can be requested for a large project from the API account contact or APICloudSolutions@NAICS.com. No self-serve mechanism is published.
Backoff
No provider backoff guidance and no Retry-After header. Callers must implement their own client-side pacing at or below 3 requests per rolling second.
Credit top-up
Credits are replenished by contacting the NAICS representative, APICloudSolutions@naics.com or 973-625-5626, referencing the API account and the number of additional credits wanted.
Batch
No batch endpoint. "We intend to offer Batch upload solutions via API down the road, however, we can assist with any large projects that arise in the interim."
