Azure Kubernetes Service Rate Limits
AKS uses a token-bucket throttle on its resource provider APIs (control plane). Buckets have a fixed burst size and a sustained refill rate; throttled requests return HTTP 429 with Retry-After. Cluster-creation quotas are enforced per subscription per region, with subscription-type-specific defaults (EA 100, PAYG 10, Free Trial 3) and self-service raise paths in the Quotas blade.
Azure Kubernetes Service Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for Azure Kubernetes Service on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.
It captures 16 rate-limit definitions, measuring requests_burst, clusters, nodes, nodePools, and pods.
The profile also includes 4 backoff/retry policies defined and response codes documented for throttled.
Tagged areas include Containers, Kubernetes, and Rate Limiting.
