Announcekit Rate Limits

AnnounceKit's published rate limit for the GraphQL API. This file REPLACES a 2026-05-04 bulk-sweep scaffold that invented per-tier quotas (10/100/1000 rpm, 1k/100k monthly) which AnnounceKit does not publish and does not operate. The real limit is a single IP-based ceiling that does not vary by plan.

"By default, the API allows 60 requests per minute per IP address." Verbatim from the API reference. The limit is per IP, not per key or per account, so it is shared by every integration calling from the same egress address.

Policies

Backoff
AnnounceKit's stated best practice: monitor X-RateLimit-Remaining, and implement exponential backoff on a 429.
Caching
Cache responses where possible to reduce call volume.
Dashboard exemption
The docs say "use authenticated requests from the official dashboard for unlimited access" - the IP limit is aimed at programmatic clients.
