Amadeus Rate Limits

Amadeus Self-Service APIs enforce per-application, per-environment transaction-per-second (TPS) limits with a minimum inter-request delay. Standard APIs allow 10 TPS in Test and 40 TPS in Production with a 100 ms minimum interval. AI and Partner APIs enforce a stricter 20 TPS in both environments with a 50 ms minimum interval. Throttling returns HTTP 429 with a "Too Many Requests" error; clients should back off and retry. Monthly transaction quotas are tracked separately by the billing system (see plans/amadeus-plans-pricing.yml).

Amadeus Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for Amadeus on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Rate Limits specification.

The profile also includes 3 backoff/retry policies defined.

Tagged areas include Travel, Travel Technology, Reservations, Flights, and Hotels.
