Abstract Api Rate Limits
Abstract enforces a per-API-key ceiling measured in requests per SECOND, plus a plan quota measured per month or per year. Both are scoped to one product's key — there is no account-level pooled limit. Exhausting the per-second ceiling returns 429; exhausting the plan quota returns 422.
Abstract Api Rate Limits is the machine-readable rate-limit profile for Abstract API on the APIs.io network, in the API Commons Rate Limits shape.
It captures 5 rate-limit definitions, measuring requests_per_second and request.
Limit state is signalled in the published, x_ratelimit, ratelimit_rfc9239, and retry_after response headers, and an exhausted limit returns HTTP 429.
The profile also includes response codes documented for throttled, quotaExceeded, and note.
Tagged areas include Data Validation, Geolocation, Email Verification, and Rate Limiting.
