Va Plans Pricing

The VA Lighthouse API platform is a free, government-provided service. There are no subscription fees or usage charges. Access is structured around two environments (sandbox and production) with a credential-based access request process.

Sandbox Access free

Free sandbox environment available to all developers. Provides immediate access to VA APIs using synthetic test data. No real Veteran data is accessible. Sandbox API keys and OAuth credentials are issued upon application.

Production Access free

Production access to VA APIs requires an additional application and review process beyond sandbox credentials. Access is granted based on use case, security review, and VA approval. Production credentials provide access to real Veteran data and must comply with VA data handling policies.
