Span Io Plans Pricing

SPAN does not sell the SPAN API as a metered cloud service. SPAN's commercial surface is the SPAN Panel hardware itself (installed via certified electricians) and SPAN's commercial Fleet Manager / Utilities offerings. The on-premise SPAN API is included free with SPAN Panel firmware for personal, non-commercial use under MIT-0 documentation licensing.

Span Io Plans Pricing is the machine-readable pricing-plan profile for SPAN on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Plans specification.

It defines 3 plans, with named plans including SPAN API (Personal, On-Premise), SPAN Fleet Manager, SPAN Utilities (DERMS).

Plans

SPAN API (Personal, On-Premise)

Local SPAN API access included with SPAN Panel for personal, non-commercial use by the panel owner or developers granted access on the home LAN. Includes REST and MQTT/Homie interfaces. No commercial use, fleet management, or multi-site aggregation permitted.

SPAN Fleet Manager

Separately licensed commercial offering for organizations and utilities requiring programmatic access to SPAN Panel data across many homes (fleet management, multi-site aggregation, demand response, DERMS). Required for any commercial use of SPAN data.

SPAN Utilities (DERMS)

SPAN's distributed-energy-resource management platform for utility partners, providing aggregated visibility and orchestration of SPAN Panels across a service territory.
