The SEC EDGAR REST API is a free public service provided by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. There are no pricing tiers, subscription plans, API keys, or payment requirements. All data available through the EDGAR API is public by statute, as the SEC is a U.S. government agency funded by taxpayers and filing fees from registrants.
