Prolific Research Plans Pricing
Prolific is pay-as-you-go: there is no subscription or contract required to use the platform or its API. You fund a workspace wallet and pay participant rewards plus a platform fee charged as a percentage on top of those rewards. As of the review date the platform fee is 42.8% of participant rewards for corporate/commercial customers and 33.3% for academic and non-profit customers. Participants receive the full reward you set; the fee is added on top. Prolific enforces a minimum reward of GBP 6.00 / USD 8.00 per hour and recommends at least GBP 9.00 / USD 12.00 per hour. Managed research services (recruitment, study design, data collection) are custom-priced. The API itself carries no separate fee - it bills the same wallet as the web app.
