Costs arise only from the third-party AI services (STT, LLM, TTS, vision) and media transports a developer wires into a pipeline, billed directly by those vendors. Pipecat Cloud, the optional hosted platform from Daily, charges usage-based per-minute rates for agent compute profiles plus add-ons (transport, recording, noise suppression, telephony).
