Novu has two consumption models. The core notification infrastructure is open source (MIT) and free to self-host with no vendor invoice. Novu Cloud is the managed offering, metered primarily on workflow runs (events) - one event is one workflow trigger that can fan a notification out across in-app, email, SMS, push, and chat from a single API call. Subscribers (recipients / MAU) are unlimited on every Cloud tier; billing is driven by workflow-run volume plus overage. Tiers are Free ($0, 10,000 runs/mo), Pro (from $30/mo, 30,000+ runs/mo), Team (from $250/mo, 250,000+ runs/mo), and Enterprise (custom, 10M+ runs/mo). Overage on Pro and Team is $1.20 per 1,000 additional runs.
