Microsoft Azure Cdn Plans Pricing
Published Azure CDN pricing, read from the Microsoft pricing page on 2026-09-17. This REPLACES the 2026-05-04 API Evangelist scaffold, which invented Free / Professional / Enterprise tiers with request quotas. Azure CDN has no request-quota tiers at all: it is metered on outbound data transfer per geographic zone with volume bands, and the MANAGEMENT API (Microsoft.Cdn, the contract this repo catalogues) is not separately billed — ARM management calls are free and governed by throttling rather than price. See rate-limits/microsoft-azure-cdn-rate-limits.yml.
Microsoft Azure Cdn Plans Pricing is the machine-readable pricing-plan profile for Microsoft Azure Cdn on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Plans specification.
It defines 3 plans, covering usage tiers, with named plans including Azure Content Delivery Network from Microsoft (classic) — Standard (S3), Azure Standard CDN from Microsoft (classic) — Routing Rules Engine add-on, Azure Standard CDN from Microsoft (classic) — WAF.
Tagged areas include Pricing, Content Delivery, and Usage Based.

Feature-inclusive standard CDN bundle. Billed on outbound data transfer, tiered by monthly volume and by geographic zone.
- Global edge delivery
- Azure CDN REST API (Microsoft.Cdn) — no additional charge
- Five Routing Rules Engine rules included, including the global rule
Additional Routing Rules Engine rules beyond the five included free rules.
Web Application Firewall, charged separately based on WAF policy and rules configuration. Pricing lives on the Azure WAF pricing page ("Global" tab) rather than the CDN page, so no figures are copied here.
