Mercedes-Benz exposes its API products through the /developers portal under a per-product subscription model. Pricing for connected-vehicle APIs (Vehicle Status, Fuel Status, EV Status, Vehicle Lock Status, Pay As You Drive) is custom-quoted: pricing is published per-product as "Contact Sales" pricing because it depends on volume, target market, and end-customer consent flow. Routes via *_tryout basePaths (e.g. /configurator_tryout/v1, /dealer_tryout/v1, /remotediagnostic_tryout/v1, /image_tryout/v1) and returns synthetic data. Intended for prototype, demo, and education use.

Reference Data Production

Production tier for the public reference-data APIs (Car Configurator, Dealer Locator, Vehicle Images). Production basePaths (without _tryout suffix), real catalog data, contracted SLA.

Connected Vehicle Production

Production tier for connected-vehicle APIs (Vehicle Status, Fuel Status, Electric Vehicle Status, Vehicle Lock Status, Pay As You Drive 2.0). Requires OAuth 2.0 customer-consent flow per vehicle owner and a Mercedes-Benz commercial agreement covering data processing.

Mercedes-Benz Fleet API

Commercial Fleet API tier from Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services. Includes Management API (REST) and Push API (Kafka). Per-vehicle, per-data-package pricing — packages (location, mileage, fuel/charge, health, tires, doors/windows, driving behavior, anti-theft) are activated individually.
