Plans
Firstrade's standard brokerage offering has no account minimums, no inactivity fees, and $0 commissions on stocks, ETFs, options, and mutual funds. All self-directed customers receive the same pricing tier with access to the full trading platform, extended-hours trading, and market research tools including Morningstar, OptionsPlay, Briefing.com, and Zacks. There is no separate paid tier for API or data access — programmatic access is achieved exclusively through third-party aggregators such as Plaid.
Developers who need programmatic access to Firstrade account data can integrate via Plaid's financial data platform. Plaid connects to Firstrade and offers Assets, Balance, Transactions, and Investments product categories. Plaid's own pricing tiers (Launch, Scale, Enterprise) apply; Firstrade itself does not charge developers for this data path.
