Blacksmith uses transparent pay-as-you-go, per-minute compute pricing for GitHub Actions runners, billed by runner family (x64 / ARM64 / Windows / macOS). Blacksmith runners are exactly half the cost of GitHub-hosted runners per minute and roughly 2x faster, for combined savings of about 75%. Every pay-as-you-go account includes 3,000 free minutes per month and 25 GB of free cache storage per repository per week (about 2.5x GitHub). Persistent storage features - Docker layer caching and Sticky Disks - and static IPs are priced as add-ons. An Enterprise plan adds an SLA, priority support, and white-glove onboarding. Discount programs exist for startups and open source.
