Developer / Preview Access

Sandbox and preview environment access for developers building integrations with athenahealth APIs. Allows testing of API calls against sample data before going to production. Rate limits are more restrictive in preview than in production.

Production API Access (Practice Customer)

Full production API access for athenahealth customers (medical practices and health systems). Pricing is based on a percentage of monthly collections rather than fixed API fees. athenahealth earns when the practice earns.

Marketplace Partner Program

For independent software vendors and developers who build and distribute apps through the athenahealth Marketplace. Partners pay a revenue share on solutions sold to athenahealth customers. Integration into the Marketplace grants access to the national network of athenahealth providers.
